Veteran Owned & Operated

Nestled in the scenic hills of Goble, just outside Rainier, Oregon, Elemental Acres is home to a growing herd of rare Meishan pigs. Our pigs live outdoors on pasture and wooded hillsides where they can root, forage, and express their natural instincts every day.

We focus on regenerative and resilient land management, approaching the farm holistically so the health of the animals, soil, forest, and surrounding ecosystem all work together. Our pigs are raised humanely and ethically, with their welfare as our top priority.

Our Mission

Elemental Acres was founded in 2020 with a clear goal: to help preserve and expand the population of Meishan pigs in the United States.

Today, our farm is home to over 80 Meishan pigs and four active breeding groups dedicated to maintaining healthy genetics and strengthening the breed nationwide.

By raising Meishans for both breeding and exceptional pork, we help ensure that this rare breed continues to thrive for generations to come.

Animal Welfare First

Our pigs are raised with care, space, and respect, with their health and well-being always coming first. We believe animals that are treated humanely live better lives and produce better food.

Responsible Land Stewardship

We raise our Meishans with a thoughtful approach to pasture, forest, and farm management. By caring for the land holistically, we support a healthier farm ecosystem and a more resilient way of farming.

Preserving Rare Heritage Breeds

Elemental Acres is committed to protecting the rare Meishan pig through responsible breeding and purposeful agriculture. By raising these animals for both breeding and pork, we help ensure this exceptional heritage breed continues to thrive.
